A day in the life of…
* As General Manager at this brand-new bustling hotel, your role will be to lead a team of hospitality experts to achieve revenue and growth for our owners within a full-service hotel setting.
* Beyond driving performance metrics like revenue, profit, and guest satisfaction, this role calls for a leader who can cultivate a high-performing team. We want someone who fosters a culture of engagement and development, empowering their colleagues to deliver world-class hospitality. Your leadership will not only shape the guest experience but also create a workplace where individuals thrive and grow.
* You will be an ambassador for the guest journey, ensuring brand values and service behaviours are delivered consistently in a professional and friendly environment, with a view to building the reputation of the hotel as a world class ‘lifestyle branded’ hotel.
* You’ll utilise your experience within a food and beverage environment to leverage the fantastic destination outlet and grab and go facilities on site to maximise revenue and enhance the guest journey.
What do we need from you?
* You’ll be the hotel's focal point and custodian, leading your team from the front whilst demonstrating your extensive experience when it comes to setting the standard in hospitality.
* You’ll be an inspirational people leader, with a high level of personal resilience to drive change, evidence of engaging hearts and minds and delivering a compelling vision for a business.
* With the scope of the role, team and property in mind, you will have demonstrable experience as a General Manager within a similar environment, preferably within an airport or transport hub setting.
* Your role will also include managing multiple stakeholders, therefore experience working closely with owners or in a 3rd party management model will be crucial to the success of this role.
* Experience working within a property with an enhanced food and beverage offering or on site destination restaurant would be highly desirable.
