WilkinsonEyre is recruiting Part 2 architectural assistants to join its team in London, UK.
We are looking for motivated, talented and energetic people to join our designers working on current and future transport projects in the UK and internationally, from scheme design through to construction support.
We particularly welcome designers who understand the customer experience and journey from the end user’s perspective and who are dedicated to developing and protecting beautiful and memorable architecture that will stand the test of time.
We are looking for candidates with between two to eight years’ architectural experience (ideally with some major project experience) who can demonstrate experience of complex projects, including coordinating directly with engineering consultants and/or contractor counterparts to develop, review and ultimately drive forward design.
The combination of design and technical skills will enable successful candidates to take an active role in developing both scheme and technical design as well as digital production.
Successful candidates will enjoy working in a team and contributing in a hands-on manner on exciting architectural design work that is underpinned by the vibrant company culture of our multi-award winning practice.
Candidates with previous experience on transport projects and/or later stage technical design (particularly rail and metro) will stand out. Proficiency in Rhino, Bentley, and AECOSim is strongly preferred.
In addition to competitive salaries, various benefits are offered to employees, including private medical care (BUPA), contributory pension scheme, group life assurance, group income protection, and contribution to gym membership.
WilkinsonEyre prides itself on being an equal opportunities employer and all candidates will be treated fairly regardless of age, race, sex, or disability. We want every candidate to feel respected, and those invited for an interview (in person) will be warmly welcomed. We look forward to being inspired by talented designers interested in introducing their work to our practice.
