Our client, an accountancy and tax advisory practice company is seeking a Finance Assistant in Winchester.

The role
Work on the day-to-day financial operations of several companies within the Group
Responsibilities
* Record and post the day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments
* Compile and submit VAT returns
* Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts and other financial accounts
* Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
* Balance sheet management and reconciliation
* Prepare draft financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet
Required:
* 1 year UK experience in either practice or industry, at least AAT qualified
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
* Full driving licence, with the flexibility to work at other locations as required.
* Education : English and Maths GCSEs (or equivalent).
