EXPERIENCED WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING PROFESSIONAL REQUIRED TO WORK AS A CONTRACT MANAGER, OVERSEEING THE OFFTAKE OF WASTE MATERIALS IN A ROLE THAT OFFERS A 36HR WEEK WITH FLEXIBILITY IN HOURS AND 2-4 DAYS PER WEEK HYBRID WORKING.
TITLE: Contracts Manager – Waste Management & Recycling / Waste Broker
SALARY: £(phone number removed) Days + B/H, Excellent Pension (NB no vehicle is provided, ELV scheme soon available)
HOURS: 36 per week with some flexibility in times, 2-4 days hybrid a week depending on business needs.
LOCATION: You will need to be commutable to the West Greater London area.
ROLE: You will be responsible for managing the offtake of waste materials and recyclate to 3rd party waste processors or disposal outlets.
You will look for additional options for that offtake and manage the existing portfolio.
You will track contract KPI’s, spend, supplier performance.
You will look to drive innovation and improve processes.
You will ensure best environmental practices.
EXPERIENCE: You MUST have worked in the waste and recycling sector and have dealt with the offtake of materials to 3rd party sources other than your own company. You might have dealt with companies for disposal to landfill, or may have sourced outlets for recycled materials, or worked in waste brokerage.
You WILL have worked in the waste sector as a: Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, MRF Manager, Commercial Manager, Waste Broker, Supply Chain Manager or a similar role.
