What we are looking for:
We are looking for an intellectually curious ESG research and analysis expert to join our global ESG Research team. This individual will support our investment teams in delivering on their ESG related commitments and objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Producing proprietary ESG company level research with emphasis on investment relevance
2. Leading regular ESG review meetings with the portfolio managers on ESG issues
3. Monitoring company activities on an ongoing basis and keeping abreast of event risks
4. Engaging in dialogue with companies on specific ESG related agenda items
5. Analyzing environmental and socially related issuance against a proprietary research framework
6. Effective internal dialogue with investment teams on ESG company and sector research as well as portfolio level view of ESG performance
7. Assisting client facing ESG experts on improving current ESG policies, data collection and reporting processes
8. Providing leadership within the global ESG Research team across a range of areas which may include (but are not limited to) developing thematic expertise and frameworks, driving process improvements in key functional areas or supporting team growth and development.
