ABOUT THE ROLE The Tax and Compliance Manager will play a critical role in Dalberg’s global finance team and report to the Finance Director – Global Shared Service. This position will oversee key aspects of the organization’s tax and compliance strategy, supporting the transition to a new corporate structure and managing reporting functions for the Global Holding Companies in Singapore and the UK. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in transfer pricing and a deep understanding of global tax and regulatory frameworks, with experience in professional services and large international organizations. WHAT YOU WILL DRIVE Implementation and Ongoing Management of the new Corporate Structure Implementation (40%) Lead the implementation and administration of Dalberg’s new corporate structure of Global HoldCos, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal bylaws. Help draft and then oversee governance frameworks for Global Holding Companies in Singapore and the UK, including international tax reporting, forecasting, and financial disclosures. Ensure all global governance processes align with Dalberg’s strategic and operational goals. Collaborate with leadership to develop easy to understand policies and procedures that support the company’s governance and compliance objectives. Transfer Pricing Policy Development and Management (25%) Develop, review and implement transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with international standards and effective intercompany pricing strategies. Conduct financial and economic analyses to support transfer pricing documentation and audits. Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to align transfer pricing strategies with global regulatory requirements. Audit and Regulatory Liaison (20%) Support regional teams when they are facing tax audits which would include managing inquiries from tax authorities, acting as the organization’s point of contact for tax-related regulatory matters. Coordinate with external advisors and auditors to ensure compliance with international tax laws and smooth resolution of regulatory issues. Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Operational and Cross-Regional Collaboration (15%) Work with finance, legal, and other operations teams to address tax and compliance issues across Dalberg’s regions, particularly as it relates to our global holding structure. Support regional teams with local accounting, forecasting, and compliance requirements, ensuring alignment with global standards. Provide guidance on the tax implications of cross-border transactions and regional and global strategic decisions. ABOUT YOU To succeed in this role, you should have: Experience: 5–7 years in tax and compliance roles, with expertise in transfer pricing. Previous experience with professional services firms or large international organizations is strongly preferred. Knowledge: Proficiency in international tax regulations, transfer pricing principles, and corporate tax laws (experience with Singapore and UK tax laws is a plus). Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with internal teams and external advisors. Familiarity with financial reporting standards such as GAAP and IFRS. Mindset: Collaborative and proactive, with a passion for creating scalable solutions in a dynamic, global environment.
