The ImpACT+ service delivery specialist respiratory services to patients in Southern Derbyshire. Based at the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital we work with Primary and Secondary care to deliver the best possible treatments for patients with chronic respiratory disease. The service works flexibly to provide treatments across a range of satellite clinic locations as well as domiciliary visits and weekly virtual MDT's with Primary care.
The ImpACT+ team is multi disciplinary consisting of Respiratory Consultants, Physiotherapists, Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Fitness Instructors, Clinical Assistants and Administrators.
You will join an established and valued admin team and support the service by registering referrals, re booking patient appointments as needed and support with inputting details on to clinical and national audits as well as general day to day office admin duties such as photocopying and answering telephones to patients.
Your main duties will be:
- Monitoring for new referrals and then creating new referrals on the EPR.
- Re booking patient appointments over the telephone and through written communications.
- Assist in the upkeep of the departmental clinical information and general filing.
- Work to strict information governance policies - Book and arrange meetings when required.
-Answer the telephone and take messages and deal with queries as required.
