Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School, and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 to 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 257 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities and/or complex medical conditions.
We require an outstanding, enthusiastic, and committed Special Schools DLP Family Engagement Officer.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Special Schools DLP School Attendance Officer. This is a newly formed team and although based at Wilson Stuart School, you will be working across the city providing support to Birmingham Special Schools to engage families and improve their school attendance. The appointment is initially on a fixed term contract until August 2026. Ideally, the successful candidate will have proven experience working in educational or family support settings, particularly in attendance management and/or safeguarding, and experience of working within SEND.
