About the Role
As a Process Technologist at IRCA, you will be a critical driver of innovation and process excellence. In this role, you will not only be responsible for scaling up new production initiatives—from kitchen samples to full-scale production—but also for ensuring that every process is executed with precision. You will work closely with R&D, engineering, planning, and quality assurance teams to ensure that our products meet customer timelines and maintain the highest standards of quality. Your role will involve troubleshooting production challenges, optimizing process settings, and leading local Product Improvement Projects to enhance cost efficiency and raw material utilization. By fostering strong technical relationships and collaborating across functions, you will contribute to continuous process enhancements and support our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Scale up new production from kitchen samples to full-scale manufacturing.
* Work cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, planning, and quality teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
* Lead local Product Improvement Projects (PIP) to drive cost efficiency and optimise raw materials.
* Take ownership of new product launches before handing them over to production.
* Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency gains and cost savings.
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience with extruded and baked products.
* Proven project management and people management experience.
* Strong knowledge of food ingredients and manufacturing processes.
* Proficiency in Optiva PLM and M3 (essential).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
