Digital Product Owner Howdens Joinery are looking for a Product Owner to join our busy Digital team. Collaborating across the teams you will be responsible for ensuring the features released meet the scope and requirements set out by the product manager and enabling team. User satisfaction, including performance, is a primary concern of the products owners to ensure that the demands of the end user, be that website users, depot users or internal users are met. Working from our office in Raunds, Northampton with some home working offered. Travel to other sites and suppliers will be required on an ad hoc basis with overnight stays as necessary. What will I be doing as a Digital Product Owner? Product owners act as the voice of the customer and ensures that the needs of the internal and external customer are met. Playing a key role in ensuring that the products delivered to the end user are delivered to the requirements as set by the enabling team, senior digital leadership team and the customer oversight team. Represent the end user and act as the connection between the users and the business. Identify and share the customer problems to be solved. Working with the Product Manager, prioritise the problems to be solved by taking a value led approach. Ensure that stories are well formed and align to the feature scope and requirements. Assist with story splitting to support continuous value flow. Signs off on story and feature completion including the acceptance criteria. Working with the stream aligned team to ensure that quality and standards are built-in and meet the definition of done. Facilitate and guide conversations within the stream aligned team and with business teams to resolve questions and communicate priorities. What we need from you: Previous experience working in a product manager or product owner role within business teams desirable Ability to translate business requirements into complex and technical stories for technical delivery. Articulate with strong influencing and coaching skills. Adaptable to changing demands and priorities. Experience working with and engaging multiple stakeholders Analytical with the ability to interpret and explain data to a diverse group with high variations in digital and commercial knowledge.
