About the Position:
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We are currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Torquay. Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching assistant:
* Individualised Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to a student, adapting your support to meet their specific needs.
* Curriculum Support: Help implement the class curriculum, working alongside the teacher to assist with lesson delivery.
* Emotional & Social Development: Support the child’s emotional, social, and academic growth, ensuring they feel confident and included.
* Tracking Progress: Monitor the student’s development and maintain open communication with the teaching team.
About You:
* Experience: Previous experience working with children in essential. Working with children in an educational setting is beneficial but not a requirement.
* Skills: Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
* Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
* Commitment: A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
