Salary: £38,627 with potential to rise to £45,562 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for an Auditor to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor who will be responsible for examining and analysing accounting records to determine the financial status of the establishment to ensure compliance with legal regulations and improve efficiency.
Every day you will …
* Examine financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
* Conduct audits of financial reports, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
* Evaluate internal control systems to ensure risk management, accuracy, and safeguards are in place for company assets.
* Prepare and present comprehensive reports detailing audit findings and recommendations for improvements.
* Work with a wide range of stakeholders during reviews and assist in resolving audit queries.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
* ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualified, or part-qualified.
* Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
