Senior Planner

With expertise in complex infrastructure projects, including the UK's largest consented solar farm, we are looking for a driven Senior Planner to be a key player in delivering exceptional client support on major projects.
The Role:
As a Senior Planner, you will take on a key role in delivering planning advice, with a particular focus on Development Consent Orders (DCOs), for infrastructure projects. Working alongside a highly skilled team, you will help navigate DCO applications from the early pre-application stage through to the examination process. You will also provide support for projects delivered through the Town and Country Planning Act (TCPA) regime.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead planning advice and be the primary point of contact for clients on major infrastructure projects.
2. Support and manage DCO applications, from inception through to the examination stage.
3. Work on a variety of infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects.
4. Provide advice on planning applications under the TCPA regime.
5. Keep up to date with changes in the UK planning system and regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. RTPI (or equivalent) qualification.
2. Experience with Development Consent Orders (DCOs) is highly desirable.
3. Proven background in infrastructure projects, particularly within sectors like renewable energy, transport, or utilities.
4. Strong understanding of the UK planning system and regulatory frameworks.
5. A keen interest in working on large-scale infrastructure projects and driving growth.
