Role Overview:
* Develop and Implement Processes: Create and enhance Engineering Management frameworks for site, facilities, and infrastructure projects, including key areas like Requirements Management, Verification, Validation, and Acceptance.
* Ensure Standards Compliance: Align processes with industry standards such as ISO 15288 (Systems Engineering) and the BSRIA Soft Landings Framework.
* Provide Leadership and Training: Offer technical guidance, training, and support to Project Managers and stakeholders for effective process implementation.
* Stay Industry-Informed: Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices in Systems Engineering and Soft Landings, adapting them for organisational use.
* Facilitate Integration: Oversee the integration of multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with Asset Management Systems across multiple projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Expertise in Systems Engineering for large-scale infrastructure, particularly in Requirements Management and Handover/Acceptance processes.
* Strong understanding of capability development and management techniques.
* Broad knowledge of the lifecycle stages, including design, engineering, commissioning, maintenance, and asset management.
* STEM degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with the BSRIA Soft Landings Framework or similar approaches.
* Membership in professional bodies, such as Chartered Engineer or Systems Engineering Professional (SEP).
