Job summary To be the autonomous lead professional responsible for assessing and providing total midwifery care to mothers and babies throughout normal pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period without direct supervision. Main duties of the job We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Integrated Midwife to join the team here at the Maternity Unit in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. A variety of hours are available. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering a high standard of evidence based care during the Antenatal, Intrapartum and postnatal period and will work alongside other members of the Midwifery Multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent expert care for women and their families. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
