About the Role Commercial Accountant - Drive growth and shape the future of our business Join our dynamic Commercial Finance team and play a pivotal role in driving growth across our exciting portfolio of businesses (PR, Advertising, G&I, and Experience). As a Commercial Accountant, you'll be more than just a numbers person; you'll be a strategic partner, working closely with client leads to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and ensure best commercial practice is at the heart of everything we do. This is a 6 Month Fixed term Contract and a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial acumen, work with a diverse range of clients, and make a real impact on the success of our UK unit. What you'll Do As a Commercial Accountant, you'll be at the forefront of financial decision-making, impacting growth and profitability. You'll: Fuel Revenue: Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities, challenging client leads to maximize growth. Optimise Margins: Champion margin improvement initiatives, ensuring financial efficiency across client teams. Provide Strategic Insights: Deliver accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive recommendations to drive informed decisions. Ensure Compliance: Maintain financial integrity by adhering to regulations and promoting best practices. Manage Finances: Oversee job management, NWC, and client profitability, ensuring financial health. Be a Trusted Partner: Collaborate with client leads and finance teams, providing expert guidance and support. What You'll Need Part-qualified Accountant: Actively pursuing a CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification. Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles and a passion for driving change. Self-Motivation: The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines. Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to see the "big picture" from a commercial perspective. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with both finance and non-finance colleagues. Collaboration: A team player who is approachable, well-organised, and driven to succeed. Influence: The ability to work independently, and able to interact with and influence the wider business to put commercial best practice at the heart of their business Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the Media industry is a plus, but not essential. Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills are a must.
