The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Team is seeking an Associate Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Lab Test Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for box and aircraft level testing to characterize and validate performance of designs to requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components.
Position Responsibilities Include:
* Assist in the planning and execution of testing, including the writing of test procedures, data collection, report generation, and program status presentations.
* Support products throughout their lifecycle by gathering project status data and utilizing project management best practices to manage multiple projects through varying stages of completion.
* Gather information to support proposals and new business development efforts.
* Apply engineering knowledge to continuously improve processes and tools.
* Work under supervision of senior engineering staff.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Experience with typical electronics lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, etc.).
* Electrical Engineering Experience.
* Experience with operation of electrical test equipment such as digitizing oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers, EMI receivers, low noise amplifiers, signal generators, multimeters, etc.
* Willing & able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
* Experience with EMI/EMC analysis and testing.
* Experience with MIL-STD-461 lab and/or aircraft qualification testing.
* Experience with Shielding Effectiveness testing.
* Experience or coursework in RF Theory.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $79,900 – $108,100.
