Childcare Leader
It is the role of the Leader to:
1. Manage the day-to-day running of the childcare provision, including coordinating the provision of a caring, safe, secure and stimulating environment, exceeding the CIW minimum standards and regulations.
2. Monitor all staff training, qualifications and DBS checks.
3. Liaise effectively with the management team developing a joined-up approach to maintaining a high standard of service for all children and their families.
4. Manage the effective monitoring of health and safety procedures.
5. Manage the delivery and effective implementation of child development assessments, observation, planning and evaluations.
6. Manage the team effectively including volunteers and students, maintaining professionalism at all times.
7. Ensure the safety of all children is paramount, fulfilling Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies.
Occasionally, training that will benefit your role as a leader will require you to work outside of the hours above; in this case, our ‘Toil’ Policy and Procedure will be adhered to.

Must be level 4/5 qualified (or willing to work towards).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.5 – 32.5 per week
