Description:
Join us and make a vital contribution to the safety of our communities. As a Solicitor for the East Midlands Police Legal Services, you’ll be working with a dynamic team, making a vital contribution to the safety of the community.
Providing legal advice and representation, you will handle a caseload and work as part of a team of lawyers representing the police in the East Midlands in relation to all matters in which the Chief Constable is a party and/or is a stakeholder.

1. Work as part of a dedicated team of advocates in a uniquely varied, specialist legal role.
2. Regular Court advocacy to enhance and strengthen professional experience.
3. Contribute to shaping a vital and ever-growing role in protecting the public.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Regular Court based advocacy, mainly based in the regional Magistrates’ Courts.
2. Carry a legal case load providing advice and advocacy as required.
3. Provide legal advice at various levels within our client Police Forces as required.
