Expedia Group (EG) is seeking a Senior Director, Operational Excellence to lead a team focused on driving divisional process improvement and change management. This role will help the organization identify and resolve operational gaps and inefficiencies and will partner with senior leaders to redesign operating models through leaven, six sigma and industry best practices.
What you’ll do:
* Lead strategic orchestration of key business processes as part of the Traveler and Partner Service Platform organization, working across brands, including Expedia for Business and Corporate Services to ensure consistency in identification, prioritization and execution of cross functional OpEx projects
* Support the organization in identifying and resolving operational problems by discovering, redesigning and operationalizing business processes and frameworks
* Drive business process design and improvement projects to ensure there is a well understood path to the organizations platform definition, its benefits and its externalization
* Introduce industry best practices through the development of a center of excellence capabilities, including training and knowledge sharing
* Establish and improve OpEx best practices through the implementation of a common framework; scoping, discovery, design and implementation
* Build process excellence awareness across senior leaders and key stakeholders, leading to the development of OpEx opportunities and pipeline
* Support and guide the organization through transformation and move toward integration, standardization and faster execution
Who you are:
* 10+ years of operational excellence experience, including processes, policies and tools
* Strong knowledge of operational industry leading trends and a track record of successful implementation
* Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills
* Experience managing stakeholders and leading teams, including coaching individuals in a complex, matrixed environment
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $244,500.00 to $342,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $391,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
