Maths & English tutors

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated tutors for our maths and English provision. We are looking for tutors who are keen to work with all levels of learners and can create engaging and interactive lessons.
Our vision at Cambridgeshire Skills is to provide learning to improve skills and confidence and to help individuals take opportunities to play a positive role in the county’s economy and communities.
The opportunities we have available are on a casual basis, we offer a competitive hourly rate and as part of our pay structure, we also pay for planning and preparation time, at ½ hour per hour of teaching. Attendance at meetings and mandatory CPD or training events are also paid.
Level 3 Qualified Tutors £30,896 - £34,431 (pro rata)
Level 4 Qualified Tutors £35,236 - £38,757 (pro rata)
Level 5 Qualified Tutors £39,751 - £43,765 (pro rata)

What will you be doing?
You will join a supportive, friendly, and welcoming team who work collaboratively across the organisation to provide high quality learning to all of our learners.
The successful candidates will be required to work at a range of delivery locations across Cambridgeshire, including the occasional evening class. The sessions could be a mix of face to face, online and flexible one to one learning delivery for English and/or maths.
About you
You will be a highly motivated and skilled English and/or maths tutor, who is flexible in their work approach.
You will be able to engage well with learners and think of new approaches and ideas to motivate our learners.
You will be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team and be willing to share ideas and resources with your colleagues.
