Role: Electrical Project Manager Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Salary: up to £75,000 Employment Type: Permanent Our client has a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple expansive projects across various locations in the UK and Europe. They have established themselves as a comprehensive provider of complete building solutions. Due to continued growth are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager to take on large scale industrial warehouse construction projects. As the ideal candidate, you will be entrusted with overseeing all on-site aspects, ensuring the successful realisation of project objectives. Reporting to the Project Director, and in collaboration with the Contracts Management team, you will engage in daily interactions with Suppliers, Site Coordinators, Project Managers, EHSQ representatives, and Subcontractors. We are looking for candidates that have demonstrable experience in logistics, fulfillment centres, smart buildings or similar projects. From day one, you will be: Ensuring on-site adherence to EHSQ regulations, conduct toolbox talks, implement RAMS, and ensure proper PPE usage. Validating the presence of all necessary permits and clearances. Developing weekly look-ahead plans and strategic scheduling. Overseeing on-site coordination of equipment rentals, tool provisioning, and workforce allocation. Providing direction and mentorship to apprentices, overseeing their tasks and daily inspections. Supervising and manage labor teams, site coordinators, and subcontracting partners. Executing commissioning and project closure strategies. Guaranteeing completion of snag lists and final project closeouts. Attaining objectives on the labor tracking system. Managing external communications pertinent to the project. Facilitating procurement of day-to-day construction materials. Maintaining up-to-date information in the progress reports. Upholding the company's Document Management System. Devising project-specific schedules. Disseminating project updates to the wider project team. Monitoring and reporting project quality metrics. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of three years' experience in a lead capacity. Fully certified Electrician with qualifications in QC Testing.
