Head of Marketing and Communications Tower Hill, London (Hybrid Working) The Company Founded in 1914, the Electrical Distributors’ Association (EDA) is the trade body for the UK’s electrotechnical wholesale distribution sector. Representing around 75% of the market, our membership spans national chains, independent businesses, and affiliated manufacturers and service providers. We support the sector across four core areas: business community, education and training, digitalisation, and industry insight - empowering members to grow and adapt in a rapidly evolving, low-carbon economy. We are now looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working from our offices near Tower Hill, with some flexibility for hybrid working and occasional UK travel. So, if you’re a first-class marketing professional ready to take on this exciting challenge, we want to hear from you The Role As our Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across all areas of our work, ensuring our member services and sector initiatives are effectively promoted and communicated. This is a high profile role with exposure at board level, across the electrotechnical sector and in the wider construction industry Working closely with the CEO, a junior marketing colleague, and the wider team, you will take ownership of short and long-term strategies, manage campaign delivery, and play an active role in digital content, events, publications, press, and social media. You’ll manage key channels including our Salesforce CRM, websites, e-newsletters, publications, and LinkedIn presence, drawing on your skills in campaign planning, content development, and analytics to ensure performance and engagement across our growing community. About You To be considered as the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will need: - Experience in a busy marketing team, ideally within a B2B or service-led environment - Experience with LinkedIn and content co-ordination for social platforms - Experience in campaign planning, e-marketing, analytics, and lead generation - Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress), Google Analytics, and SEO - Strong knowledge of Salesforce and CRM-driven campaigns - Confident copywriting and content development skills - An understanding of data accuracy, brand consistency, and press/media liaison - Excellent attention to detail and strong project co-ordination skills - The ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously A proactive mindset, positive attitude, and the ability to think creatively and strategically will be essential in this role. You’ll be keen to take initiative, make data-led decisions, and represent us with confidence.
