Role: Real Estate Manager

Role Description: As a key member of the programme team reporting to the Senior Manager - Finance Processes working exclusively on the S/4HAHA program, this high-profile role provides exposure to a wide range of Finance, IT, and other colleagues and process experts across all levels. You will gain valuable project/programme management skills while working on a transformation programme for a UK-based Pharmacy retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the design, implementation, and deployment of an end-to-end real estate and lease solution.
2. Manage a virtual network team of process analysts and subject matter experts.
3. Provide guidance and input to other activities including data conversion and cleansing, reporting, testing, training, and deployment planning.
4. Design and support UAT scenarios and execution to confirm the integrity of your end-to-end process design.
5. Lead and support engagement across the business and Finance teams, being aware of the impact of the programme across the business.
6. Liaise with on and offshore colleagues/process owners.
7. Engage and support the Process Owner network post-deployment.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
1. Qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
2. Working knowledge of lease accounting under both IFRS 16 and US GAAP.
3. Good knowledge and experience of SAP.
4. Ability to challenge, spot potential errors, and identify areas of focus/challenge within processes and systems.
5. Ability to explain complex financial issues to those with a non-finance background and build strong relationships with senior business partners.
6. Ability to build and grow existing networks across the business.
7. Appreciation of US SOX controls environment and understanding of system controls.
8. Ability to work in a project role with ambiguity and changing priorities, operating to tight deadlines.
9. Enthusiasm and willingness to take on challenges and be involved in details as required.
10. Deep process knowledge in area of expertise.
11. Effective team leader and motivator.
12. Very good depth knowledge in SAP S4 HANA with latest technology and functionality.
Person Specification:

* Regular communication with various workstream leads, customers, Architect, and Team.
Work Arrangement: 3 days in office. Onshore role only.
Office Location: Boots UK, D90 Thane Road, Beeston, Nottingham.
