Young Peoples Safeguarding Social Worker Position
We are seeking a dedicated social worker to join our Young Peoples Safeguarding Team, working with 12-18 year olds.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of safeguarding risks outside the home and experience in supporting vulnerable young people.
This role involves working with individuals at risk of homelessness or care, children who may be victims of abuse, and those experiencing difficulties within their family or community environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues, parents, carers, and other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* To assess and manage safeguarding risks to young people, identifying areas of concern and developing strategies to mitigate these risks
* To work collaboratively with other professionals to provide support and guidance to young people and their families
* To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to safeguarding
* To participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in safeguarding practices
