Job Title: Field-Based Sales Representative – Drone Services

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Field-Based Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This role is focused primarily on the development of new business, targeting senior decision-makers across the housing, property, construction, and local authority sectors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and securing new clients within these industries and will be adept at building long-term business relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to have a meaningful impact on the company’s growth and development, exploring new areas of opportunity and reporting directly to the Services Director. Alongside the competitive salary and uncapped earning potential the role involves working with a small but motivated team that is on hand to provide support in a number of areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and establish relationships with senior decision-makers in target sectors.
* Consultative Sales Approach: Identify client needs and challenges, offering tailored drone and data collection services to provide innovative solutions.
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Build a pipeline of prospective clients by networking, referrals, outreach strategies alongside support from in house sales development representative
* Face-to-Face Engagement: Conduct meetings with C-suite and senior-level executives, presenting our services in a compelling and persuasive manner. Assist with field based demonstrations for key clients and prospects
* Performance & KPIs: Work towards clearly defined sales targets and KPIs, including meeting quotas for client interactions and deal closures.
* Sales Strategy & Market Insights: Provide industry insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and product positioning.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to manage client accounts, facilitate smooth service delivery, and optimize sales efforts.
* CRM & Reporting: Assist with maintenance of accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities within the CRM system.
The ideal candidate will be based along the M4 corridor between Newport and Reading and will complete the majority of their work in the field within this central area of the UK
About You:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven Track Record: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales with a focus on business development within housing, property, construction, or local authorities.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry challenges and procurement processes within one or more of the target sectors.
* High-Level Engagement: Experience engaging with senior executives, procurement teams, and key stakeholders in strategic business discussions.
* Networking Expertise: Demonstrable success in developing business relationships and leveraging networks to generate sales opportunities.
* Presentation & Communication: Ability to interact comfortably a variety of authority levels, deliver compelling pitches and presentations and use open and closed questioning techniques to good effect.
* Self-Motivation & Independence: Alongside being able to work with a team, the successful candidate will need to be able to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and drive results with minimal supervision.
* Travel Commitment: Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory for client meetings and industry events.
* Exceptional Sales Skills: Strong ability to develop and close high-value deals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales cycle effectively.
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with Drone Technology: Understanding of drone applications in commercial settings (training provided).
What We Offer:

* Basic Salary: £30-35,000 per annum depending on experience
* Performance-Based Commission:
* Year 1 OTE: £55,000 (with uncapped potential beyond this).
* Year 2+ OTE: £60,000–£70,000+ (realistic earnings based on performance).
