A lovely opportunity has arisen for a part-time Nanny Housekeeper with an easy-going and fun family near Pucklechurch.
The position is for 3 afternoons, ideally, Monday, Wednesday, and one other, 2-7pm to help with school runs, taking to after school activities, preparing and cooking simple healthy meals, assisting with the baby, and bath/bedtime routine. General housekeeping includes family laundry, putting away children’s clean clothes, occasional ironing, ad hoc errands, dishwasher, putting grocery shopping away, and general tidying (a cleaner is employed also).
The family has a 6 and 4-year-old and a baby due in April, so recent baby experience is essential as you will be supporting Mum in the running of the home but may also have sole charge of the baby if Mum is busy with the older children. There will also be some shared care as Mum will be on maternity leave from April. The two girls enjoy role play, arts and crafts, and baking as well as spending time in the garden or going to the park on their scooters or bikes.
The ideal nanny would have experience with these ages, be very caring, warm, reliable, punctual, a confident cook, good communicator, easy-going, and also bring energy and fun to the house, engaging in activities with the children around their interests. Being proactive and intuitive is key, knowing when to step in and when to give space. They are looking for an extra pair of hands who can use their initiative to muck in where needed to ensure the home runs smoothly.
This is a permanent position.
