About The Role:
£45,000 - £50,000 basic
£75,000 OTE
£4,000 car allowance

As Business Development Manager, you will report to the Head of Sales and focus on driving new business within the housing association, local authority, and facilities management sectors.
You’ll build strong customer relationships, create a sustainable sales pipeline, and ensure efficient processing of all sales transactions.
Day To Day:
* Business Development: Identify new business opportunities through industry knowledge, networking, and lead sourcing.
* Customer Management: Develop and manage a customer base, targeting high-value accounts with a tailored call plan, client visits, and event participation.
* Documentation Management: Ensure accurate and complete documentation for vehicle and conversion sales, including specifications and finance details.
* Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to gather information, respond to enquiries, and provide updates on their purchase process.
* Data Entry: Update customer and vehicle information promptly and accurately in the management system.
* Coordination: Collaborate with finance, operations, and registration teams for timely processing of sales.
* Reporting: Use CRM and personal knowledge to forecast and report on sales progress and pipeline.
* Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues swiftly and effectively.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, production, and aftersales teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
About You:
* Solid understanding of selling into Commercial Fleets customers.
* Successful track record of selling Commercial Vehicles.
* Proven ability to develop new business and manage pipeline.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and generic CRM management software.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
