Marketing Director for B2B Conferences (Maternity Cover – 14 months)
Decarb Connect is a global membership and event platform that champions the strategies & solutions accelerating the decarbonisation of CO2-intensive sectors.
We are searching for an energetic and ambitious Senior Marketing Manager who would like to gain experience in leading the small but powerful marketing function of a B2B media scale up, providing maternity cover support for our Marketing Director.
This maternity cover contract is the ideal way to gain experience of a purposeful and highly commercial market, to gain senior leadership experience and to position yourself for career growth within B2B events and the sustainability space.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute and monitor campaign activity & timelines for all conference and membership products.
2. Ensure the website delivers high performance at both the brand and lead generation levels.
3. Manage the annual marketing budget, tracking delegate income on a weekly basis, setting targets and forecasting.
4. Own the marketing timeline, enforcing deadlines and contributions required.
5. Manage and develop our excellent Marketing Exec and any suppliers and agencies we work with.
6. Regularly review changes and responses in the market, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
7. Provide tools and materials to enable the sponsorship and delegate sales team to drive great results.
8. Manage and measure marketing campaign costs and ensure maximum ROI.
9. Build, maintain and oversee the hygiene of the data and HubSpot CRM.
10. Oversee SEO, PPC and Social Media engagement, ensuring delivery of leads.
11. Write, edit and proof-read: You’ll be responsible for our external voice, writing and/or proofing all copy.
12. Create winning partnerships with media, publishers, associations and more.
13. Work closely with the Founder and senior team - learn how scale ups grow, how we launch and scale product and how we serve our market.
Your Values:
