Small Works & Lifecycle Co-ordinator - FM

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Small Works & Lifecycle Co-ordinator - FM to join our Facilities Management team at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
1. Reporting to the Lifecycle & Legacy Manager
2. Manage the delivery of small works and the repair or replacement of the Mechanical & Electrical assets, building fabric infrastructure, furniture, fixtures and equipment inclusive of certain medical devices.
3. Ensure that all small works enquiries are effectively quoted and actioned in accordance with the schedule of rates.
4. Obtain quotations and delivery programmes from the supply chain and where appropriate ensure internal costs are included in the final proposal.
5. Prepare and obtain approval for the work submissions to support the programme.
6. Ensure that subcontracts/purchase orders are generated and issued prior to commencement of work.
7. Management of the supply chain to ensure works are delivered to time, quality and cost.
8. Ensure the asset register, asset database (CAFM) and record drawings are updated.
9. Support the contract finance team with their preparation of the monthly accounts.
The person:
1. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
2. Previous experience of project management / administration is essential.
3. Essential to have good numerical and written skills.
4. Must have a strong understanding of I.T. systems; desirable to have knowledge of Maximo.
5. Previous healthcare background is desirable.
6. Desirable to hold a PRINCE2 qualification.
