Location: HMP Bullingdon, Patrick Haugh Road, Bicester
Contract: Fixed term contract for 12 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £38,500 per annum (Subject to experience)

About the Role:
HMP Bullingdon has an exciting opportunity for a Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team, delivering Functional Skills Maths from Entry Level to Level 2. We would prefer that candidates already hold a Level 3 IQA Qualification.
We are seeking a creative and inspiring Tutor who can deliver engaging classes to learners who are based within the prison. As a Functional Skills Maths Lecturer, you will support learners to achieve success and guide them through the courses. You will help them to achieve qualifications, as well as confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release or to other areas within education.

Minimum Requirements:
* Level 3 IQA Qualification preferred.
* Experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths.

About HMP Bullingdon:
Bullingdon Community Prison is situated near the village of Arncott in Bicester, Oxon. HMP Bullingdon is a complex prison that has a number of functions. It is categorized as a local category B prison with a category C resettlement function. HMP Bullingdon has the capacity to hold 1114 offenders all serving a range of sentences from remand to life, with the average length of stay between 3 and 6 months.
The College works closely with our prison colleagues to deliver short to medium courses that help prepare learners for employment upon release. Courses include: English and Maths Functional Skills (Entry 2 to Level 2), ICT, Cookery, Hospitality, Business, Self-Employment, Painting & Decorating, Horticulture, Paving, Mentoring, and Barbering.
