Stoke-on-Trent City Council is offering an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our Venues and Events team. About the Role: As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in promoting events and venues across the city through engaging digital content. Working alongside experienced events and marketing professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, website updates, email marketing, and digital design. What You’ll Be Doing: •Assisting in the promotion of citywide events through digital marketing. • Creating engaging content for social media, websites, and email newsletters. • Supporting the maintenance and updates of online platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content. • Developing graphic and video content to enhance digital campaigns. • Monitoring social media and website performance, compiling reports to assess engagement. • Assisting with administrative tasks such as database management and event coordination. What We’re Looking For: • A keen interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation. • Good writing and communication skills. • Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or InDesign (desirable). • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
