Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 with some flexibility
Location: Initially this role is office based full-time in our Cardiff Hub at 18 Park Place - this will then move to a hybrid set up with some days working from home.

Department Description:
We have an excellent opportunity to join our People department as a People Assistant. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service and attention to detail who has a passion to learn. You will receive guidance and advice from an experienced team and will experience working for an organisation that delivers services throughout Wales. You will also have the flexibility to complete your CIPD qualification.
Purpose of Role:
To provide excellent customer service as a first point of engagement with all stakeholders to resolve People queries and find appropriate solutions, assisting with the employee lifecycle from start date onwards, helping to develop a positive, caring and compliant work experience and culture of Wallich people at all stages of the employee lifecycle.
The role is responsible for assessing the nature of enquiries received, dealing with those that fall within the scope/remit of the role whilst encouraging a self-service approach from customers, escalating those that require input from our People Partners, and providing a support service to the People Partners in delivering customer focused, psychologically informed solutions to our staffing teams across all People processes and procedures.
This role is subject to a Basic DBS disclosure.
