Strong communication with the maintenance manager, your team, and operational staff is vital. You will also be tasked with accurately logging your work and ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and company policies. EXPERIENCE: Mechanical Engineer - Plant Maintenance Technician You will have works in a heavy process of manufacturing environment working with large static plant production equipment, this is not suitable for something that has done buildings or facilities maintenance. You will have undertaken a time served plant maintenance, mechanical or marine engineering apprenticeship and be qualified with a C & G or NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND or degree MIG or TIG welding experience and any basic or advanced electrical work a plus. Knowledge of PC based engineering PPM systems useful. Health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH a bonus.
