The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at a multitude of events such as sporting events, concerts, and festivals. The successful candidate will also work at events such as rugby games, football matches, concerts and festivals. Our client base includes Chelsea FC, Wembley, Twickenham, Wigan, Derby County, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Liverpool FC, Man Utd, Burnley, Warrington Wolves, Silverstone and many more The Role: The Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for: Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on low-speed roads. Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses Maintenance of temporary traffic lights Helping and guiding new trainees What good looks like for Traffic Management Operative: M1 / M2 & M6 qualified as a minimum Knowledge of Chapter 8 Able to pass a safety critical worker medical Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points Able to pass a drug and alcohol test Positive “can-do” attitude Adaptability and Flexibility Meticulous attention to detail Welcoming visitors to the site Dealing with any queries & offer additional information regarding the sites procedures Helping to direct cars and large crowds of people Offering an excellent level of customer service to ensure the smooth entrance and exit to the site Being the eyes and ears of the event and ensuring the safety team have the information they require Patrolling relevant areas when necessary Acting as first point of contact in any suspicious situations All skills below are advantageous however not essential as we will provide all training to support successful candidates. Experience working as an Event Steward or a SIA Operative Previous customer service experience An NVQ Level 2 in Spectator safety is an advantage (however we can offer this qualification inhouse free of charge if not) Pay: £13.50 per hour All work is offered on a casual basis giving you flexibility to work around your current commitments. Hours of work: Shift times will vary on each event, early and late shifts will be available.
