Your Role as an SEN Teacher: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students within the mainstream SEN department. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure every student is supported to reach their potential. Collaborate with the SENCO and wider staff to monitor and track student progress. Provide individual and small group interventions to support students with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties, speech and language, and social-emotional needs. Use innovative teaching strategies to create engaging lessons and foster positive learning environments. Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with SEN students, ideally within a mainstream setting. ✅ A patient, flexible, and proactive teaching approach. ✅ Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and differentiation strategies. ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
