Job Summary: THE POSITION The UK Professional Services Team Leader role encompasses comprehensive responsibility for project leadership and delivery. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivational leader, capable of thriving in a high-intensity, high-demand environment while remaining focused on achieving agreed objectives and managing defined KPIs. In this role, you will be instrumental in building on our existing foundations and growing a high-performing Services Team. You will be responsible for fostering a team capable of operating across the breadth of our product lines within the division. Additionally, you will facilitate the development of product and consulting skills across the team, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery. Working directly with the UK Team Leaders, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and execute the revenue and associated targets for the Division. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving our strategic goals and maintaining our commitment to high standards and customer satisfaction. Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Management Analyses project profitability, revenue, bill rates, and utilisation. Understands revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-complete projections, making informed decisions accordingly. Accurately forecasts revenue and utilisation for UK projects. Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for direct reports’ projects. Minimises AssetWorks’ exposure and risk on projects. Understands AssetWorks’ pricing model and billing procedures. Monitors and updates forecasts for direct reports. Identifies areas for improvement in internal processes and proposes viable solutions. Submits time and expense reports conscientiously and promptly. Enforces standard policies and procedures consistently. Operations Management Supervises the day-to-day activities of direct reports to ensure the successful execution of project delivery services. Identifies resource needs and assigns individual responsibilities. Monitors utilisation of direct reports and adjusts assignments as necessary. Tracks and approves team hours and expenses on a weekly basis. Evaluates direct reports and provides counsel to improve performance. Ensures effective application of AssetWorks’ implementation methodology and enforces adherence to project standards by direct reports. Reviews deliverables prepared by the UK team before submission to clients. Follows up with clients as necessary regarding issue escalation. Creates and executes project work plans, revising as needed to meet changing requirements. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Project Leadership and Consultation Develops and implements project work plans, adapting them as necessary to address evolving needs and requirements. Oversees the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to project scope and objectives. Applies AssetWorks’ methodology effectively, maintaining adherence to project standards throughout the project lifecycle. Ensures project documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and stored securely in appropriate repositories. Leads project and product orientation sessions. Conducts and documents requirements definition and fit/gap analysis. Leads current and future state business process assessment workshops. Consults with customers related to system setup and configuration. Prepares and executes test plans. Prepares training documentation and materials. Delivers training to client team (system administrator, trainers, end users). Provides go-live preparation and support. Communication Conducts regular status meetings with direct reports to ensure alignment and progress tracking. Effectively communicates pertinent project information to superiors and other departments, including Development, Support, QA, and Sales, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams. Delivers engaging, informative, and well-organised presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of key project updates and objectives. Demonstrates tact and sensitivity in communicating difficult or sensitive information, maintaining positive relationships and fostering open dialogue. Business Development Identifies potential business development and "add-on" sales opportunities aligned with specific projects, leveraging project insights and client relationships. Contributes to proposal efforts by assisting with project scoping, including the development of Statements of Work (SOW) and assessments of Level of Effort (LOE). Articulates AssetWorks’ value proposition effectively in both written and verbal business development discussions, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of our solutions to prospective clients.
