Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available for a research nurse or AHP to join the research team within Division 1 (Cancer). This role will require cross site working at times. The Division 1 portfolio is very active at UHD offering trials in multiple specialities within cancer care. The post holder will work closely with the Senior Research Nurses and other members of the wider multi-disciplinary team to offer trial opportunities to both inpatients and outpatients. Clinical experience in oncology and/or research is essential. You will be responsible for assessing and managing the care pathways for patients participating in clinical trials, being responsible for a caseload of trial patients. This will involve the identification, recruitment, education and monitoring of these patients and the collection and documentation of accurate data. You will be required to prioritise your own workload and to work autonomously as well as being responsible for identifying new research opportunities.
