Wood is currently recruiting for a Pipeline Integrity Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering to join our Integrity Assets Consultancy team as part of our Digital Consulting business unit on a long-term contract basis. Due to continual growth, we are open to applications from across the UK to be based at any of our main offices in particular – Aberdeen, Glasgow, Galway or Staines on a hybrid working bases with fully remote working to be considered. Due to significant growth plans for our consulting business, we are seeking to enhance our Integrity Assets team with Mechanical or Petroleum Engineers who have a keen interest in solving complex technical challenges for our clients, the ability to support in delivering the right solutions using a consultive approach while demonstrating versatility. Transforming the world Our Asset Lifecycle Optimisation business unit provides Integrity Management Services, Structural Integrity Engineering, Computational Analysis and Rotating and Reciprocating Equipment Control to our clients. We support our clients across conventional energy to ensure Energy Security and play a key role in decarbonising assets. We also work closely with client across the Energy Transition sector supporting projects across Hydrogen transportation and production, and Carbon Capture, Storage and Utilisation (CCUS). Further benefits include a generous contributory pension scheme, private medical cover, 4x base salary life insurance; all of these and more that can be adapted to suit your own lifestyle Commitment to continued professional development ; development plans that are tailored to your individual needs and interests Global connections ; join experts around the world who are at the leading edge of our industry, shaping the standards of our profession Responsibilities Typical responsibilities Day-to-day operations support with pipelines team Engage with offshore, topsides, subsea and corrosion teams with clients Write and maintain quarterly KPI reports Review inspections Review pipeline internal inspection reports Review various subsea inspection reports Review and interpret annulus test results Update planned maintenance routines as required Perform risk assessments Monitor flowline risks Monitor pressure and temperature trends in flowlines, risers and spools Monitor corrosion and erosion for pipelines (CI dosage, water injection treatments, biocide injection rates etc) Monitor and review overall results Perform anomaly management using Wood / Client software Write technical notes as required Create inspection plans/equipment strategy updates Review maintenance work orders Qualifications Skills and qualifications What makes you remarkable?
