M2r Education are working with a leading further and higher education provider in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Part-Time Learning Support Mentor in Creative Industries.

As part of this role, you will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of young people while promoting their social inclusion, self-esteem and independence, whilst also getting the opportunity to support students in all vocational areas of the college and assist them to access the curriculum, participate in learning and fulfil their potential.
This role is a part time position (18.5 hours) covering Wednesday, Thursday full days and Friday afternoons each week on a permanent basis term time only.
Requirements:
GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Recent and demonstrable experience of supporting with people with special education needs
Working with Dyslexia qualifications
Level 2 Learning Support Qualification or working towards
Qualification in Moving and Handling/ Assisting People to Move
Recent experience of sighted-guiding
Familiarity with digital assisted technology
