Big Star are looking to recruit an Assistant Business Manager to join its team of twenty-two. The individual must have a passion for music and entertainment and a desire to pursue a long term career within Accounting. You will be working in a fast paced and varied environment alongside a team who work hard but also enjoy socialising.
Responsibilities:
1. Client on-boarding and Xero set up
2. VAT/PAYE/SA registration of clients
3. Raising of invoices via Xero
4. Input transactions into Xero
5. Reconcile bank accounts
6. Paying supplier invoices
7. Ensure receivables are collected promptly
8. Receipts management via HubDoc/Dext
9. Prepare VAT returns and ensure taxes are paid to HMRC within deadline
10. Record all cash receipts and make bank deposits
11. Maintain petty cash
12. Assist with payroll
13. Respond to client requests on a timely basis
14. Budgeting and cash flow management as and when required
15. Preparation of management and tour accounts as and when required
16. Analysis work for sole traders and year end accounts
17. Prepping for year end accounts
18. Provide clerical and administrative support to management as and when needed
19. Sorting and distribution of post on a daily basis
