Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Data Centre Engineering team, you will be responsible for completing statutory and non-statutory maintenance on critical infrastructure at our owned sites.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. They will also have good time management skills, be able to remain focused under pressure, and have the ability to diagnose and prioritise problems.
This is a challenging role that requires the individual to be proactive in their duties, with a keen focus on delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Statutory and Non-Statutory Maintenance: Complete routine and unplanned maintenance of critical M&E assets to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Condition Monitoring: Conduct regular condition monitoring of critical IT assets to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
* Issue Resolution: Respond to issues in an efficient manner to maintain business SLAs and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
* Fault Finding: Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* IT Service Provision: Provision IT services following an approved workflow to meet internal and external customer requirements.
* Reporting and Tracking: Report and track issues via the appropriate management tool to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Communication: Keep management and other departments up-to-date at all times to ensure seamless collaboration and effective decision-making.
* Health and Safety: Promote and adhere to health and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Previous Experience: Previous experience of working within a Facilities organisation operating as an Electrical Engineer.
* Communication Skills: Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
* IT Literacy: IT literate with the ability to use industry-leading management portals.
* Attention to Detail: Attention to detail with the ability to diagnose and prioritise problems.
* Time Management: Good time management skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Professional Attitude: Professional working attitude with a keen focus on delivering high-quality results.

Estimated Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
