Role: Project Accountant
Location: Central London
Salary: £37-42k & benefits
This is an exciting architectural firm based in central London, who have a series of award-winning projects across the real estate and property sector. They focus designs on commercial and residential sites across the UK and Europe, and now expanding other global remits.
Due to recent growth, they are looking to hire a proactive Project Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
ROLE
The Project Accountant for this architecture firm based in central London, will work closely with the Finance Director and Finance Manager in managing the practice projects, WIP, and billings as well as regular analysis. They will take on a number of key duties including:
1. Taking on monthly project WIP reviews with several Project Leaders.
2. Responsible for financial analysis over various projects, ensuring fees and budgets are accurate.
3. Effectively and efficiently managing the monthly billing cycle.
4. Creating fee drawdown schedules, ensuring cash flows support project requirements.
5. Provide job costing analysis and fee calculations.
6. Producing various financial reports to assist with decision making for Partners.
7. Assist with any ad hoc tasks as directed by management team.
PROFILE
The ideal profile for this Project Accountant position, should have the following attributes:
8. Previous project accounting experience within a professional service, construction, architecture industry.
9. Working knowledge of revenue recognition would be ideal.
10. Strong commercial acumen and experience in business partnering.
11. Strong Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
12. Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
13. Previous experience using Deltek would be advantageous.
SALARY & BENEFITS
£37,000 to £42,000 plus benefits including:

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
