Description
* Who we’re looking for: An analytical, problem solver who has proven experience using cutting-edge automation tools and techniques to enhance productivity.
* The challenge: To analyse processes within our teams to look for opportunities to automate or optimise processes through the use of tools.
* Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove office 2/3 days a week.
This role will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our COO to drive process improvements across the business, solving real problems that will reduce manual work for the team so that we can scale effectively. There are some quick wins where this role can quickly make an impact, as well as longer term goals that will be shaped by this person - there is plenty of scope for this role to grow with the business.
Day to day this role will
* Analyse and optimise operational processes, with an initial focus on our Operations team.
* Develop custom tools and solutions within Retool (or similar low-code tools) and Google Workspace.
* Maximise the potential of our Zendesk platform including opportunities for the use of Generative AI/LLMs.
* Work closely with Product and Engineering to enable seamless integrations of our Ops tools into our platform.
Who we’re looking for
* Experience developing in JavaScript or Python & ability to work with simple APIs.
* Strong communication and influencer skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders, understanding their challenges, and unifying them around a common goal for success.
* A problem solver - you are able to find innovative solutions to a wide range of business problems.
* Organisational skills for task prioritisation and time management.
* Analytical thinking - capable of harnessing quantitative and qualitative data, with experience designing and implementing solutions to unstructured problems.
* A good understanding of the cross-functionality of business units, able to identify areas for operational transformation, as well as create new business solutions.
* Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and environments.
It’s not essential, but we’d love to hear about it if you have experience with:
* AI/LLM tools within process automation e.g. OpenAI API.
* No-code ‘glue’ tools like Zapier.
* Low-code tools such as Retool/Bubble.
* Configuration/customisation of Helpdesk tools such as Zendesk and other productivity tools such as CRMs (HubSpot) and Project Management (Asana and Jira).
* Information security and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
