Role Overview: As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to young learners, ensuring they develop essential skills across all subject areas. You will create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
Assess and track students' progress, identifying areas where additional support or challenge is needed
Develop and implement a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students' social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with other staff members and parents to support the overall well-being and development of pupils
Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a safe, respectful space for all students
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching in KS1 or a similar setting
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and current educational practices
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A passion for working with young children, with a commitment to their academic, emotional, and social development
