We want to talk to you We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the Senior Team Manager to provide strategic advice and data insights to various Business teams. The role will also partner with Finance Business Partner peers to ensure Bank wide costs are understood; and support other Procurement, Organisation and Cost projects and initiatives. You'll become the primary point of contact within the team for month end, forecast and budget for the respective Business Areas. You'll be responsible for supporting the Cost Management team to set up new financial and operational processes to help enable Directorates to deliver their strategic objectives. This is a 12-month fixed term contract. The difference you'll make. Managing key stakeholders and their understanding of the banks cost position, build effective stakeholder relationships Delivering analysis and insight into financial reporting and results, driving stakeholder understanding of how to measure the success of key projects and initiatives Presenting challenges and review to all items affecting the cost position of the bank, Providing full transparency of all challenges, risks and opportunities, embedded challenges and support the business in creating detailed plans to address them Managing the monthly billing of resource costs across the Bank, including actual v budget variances of individual business performance/P&Ls and understand key cost drivers of activity Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered Ensuring a detailed tracking and monitoring regime is in place to allow effective management oversight of the challenge and linkage to the P&L What you'll bring. These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role: Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with Executives and Senior Managers, within and outside Finance through personal credibility and delivery of results CIMA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or significant experience in working in a finance/cost function It would also be nice for you to have. Excellent influencing, stakeholder management and prioritisation skills Ability to undertake complex analytical/modelling techniques; deal with complex issues and able to undertake analysis when requested Self-motivation with the ability to work independently Passionate about delivering excellent customer service What else you need to know: This role is based in Milton Keynes. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
