Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Location: Liverpool Street Office

We are a partnership of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sport & Exercise Medicine Doctors, specialising in diagnosing and treating all musculoskeletal disorders, including sports injuries, fractures and arthritis.
We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience in a Customer Service/Receptionist role and/or an administrative environment to support our busy medical practice. We would also like to consider new graduates with no prior experience.
The ideal candidate will be a positive and confident communicator who is competent with administration. To succeed in this position, you must be a self-starter who thrives on variation and has a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Based at Reception, the person fulfilling this role is expected to undertake the following responsibilities:
* Greeting patients, visitors and consultants at Reception
* Booking/amending patient clinic appointments
* Taking telephone calls, dealing with emails, answering patient queries and taking messages for consultants and management
* Scanning of relevant documentation onto the Meddbase system
* Sending out clinic letters
* Dealing with post, faxes, referrals and imaging discs
* Taking payments from patients
* Provision of backup accounts processing, including scanning of accounts-related documents, and processing payments and shortfall invoices
* Any other duties as reasonably identified by Management of London Sports Orthopaedics LLP
Requirements
* Experience within a Customer Service/Receptionist role and/or administrative environment
* Intermediate level of IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office
* Able to use own initiative and be a clear written and verbal communicator
* Well-organised, with a keen eye for detail
* Professional and friendly manner; able to work within a team
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C grade) or equivalent
* Degree in Business Administration or similar desirable but not essential
