The Role
As part of this Get into Teaching programme, you will:
Work alongside experienced teachers across Key Stages 1 and 2, gaining practical insights into lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement. Support students one-on-one and in small groups, helping them to build confidence in core subjects such as literacy and numeracy. Assist with lesson preparation, marking, and day-to-day classroom activities to fully experience the dynamics of a primary school setting. Receive mentoring and structured support as you work toward teacher training starting in September.This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, designed to give you immersive experience and foundational skills for a successful teaching career.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated, compassionate graduate who is:
Eager to start a rewarding career in teaching, with a clear commitment to beginning teacher training in September. Enthusiastic about working with young children, especially across KS1 and KS2. Able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents. Adaptable and collaborative, with a proactive attitude towards supporting diverse student needs. Holding a university degree (all disciplines welcome, but education-related fields are advantageous).This role offers a valuable starting point for graduates who are passionate about making a difference and building a future in education.
