Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Finance Manager to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.
As an Assistant Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Organizing and providing administration and correct retention filing of all required documentation, processes, and procedures.
2. Processing and verification of weekly payroll, UDT trackers, and weekly bookwork for all units.
3. Supporting unit managers with general administration tasks.
4. Supporting monthly financial reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of accounts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Processing all weekly information into the nexus system, ensuring accuracy checks and compliance.
2. Finalizing weekly bookwork and ensuring e-files are correctly sent.
3. Compiling UDT trackers weekly and sending updates to unit managers and senior teams.
4. Submitting UDT trackers to the Contracts Director by the agreed deadline.
5. Supporting the administration of the Foodbuy and The Source systems.
6. Processing weekly payroll and ensuring all entries are accurate.
7. Supporting with investigation and resolution of ad hoc payroll queries.
8. Supporting analysis of the OurTime system for information requests.
9. Supporting profit protection processes and completing profit protection audits.
10. Coordinating ad hoc purchase requests such as uniform and equipment requests.
11. Acting as a Compass advocate, maintaining a positive professional manner.
12. Utilizing and analyzing the Symphony till system for data and reports.
13. Contributing proactively to improvement ideas for financial business improvements.
14. Monitoring ordering and highlighting unauthorized purchasing to unit managers.
15. Managing PO purchase orders and client invoicing.
16. Completing month-end financial review and approval processes through the SAP system.
17. Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients and customers.
18. Acting as an advocate for health and safety with excellent personal behaviors.

14. Understand financial systems and manage using Microsoft systems with intermediate Excel skills.
