Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join their team as part of their internal promotion succession planning.Benefits:Monday-Friday Days roleProduction bonus (worth c.£4K per annum paid monthly)25 days holiday + bank holsEmployer matched pension schemeDeath in service schemePerkbox employee discounts platformWeCare wellbeing programmeCycle to work schemeExtensive training & development opportunities Career / Personal Development PlanRemit:This role will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Setter or Technician who is looking to secure a days role with a forward-thinking company on an upward trajectoryFantastic opportunity to join an upwardly mobile business who have a promote from within culture and place their staff at the forefront of their businessCandidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience in setting, conditioning and optimizing injection moulding machinesRole:In the role of Injection Moulding Setter you will be responsible for performing tool changes and setting of injection moulding machineryAs Injection Moulding Setter you will ensure that all tooing and machinery is regularly inspected in line with maintenance requirementsMonitor performance of all tooling and machinery, carrying out continuous improvements to deliver gains and efficiencyCarry out new tooling and material triallingIdentify potential and actual production issues and report all electrical and mechanical breakdowns to the Maintenance & Engineering ManagerKeep all production equipment operational to ensure efficient output to expected standardsEnsure all machinery set and ready for operation as per the Production Cell Managers planPlay an active part in maintenance schedules and component replacement requirementsResponsible for carrying out pre-start checks on all machines prior to production commencementTraining & guidance of production staff in the correct use of machinery and equipmentTake accountability for first part acceptance in line with Quality and Regulatory requirementsExperience Requirements:Demonstrable experience of machine setting and operation within an injection moulding manufacturing environmentIndustry recognised injection moulding qualificationsExperience working within high volume manufacturingWorking knowledge of robotics and automation systems an advantageComputer literacyAble to work independently as well as part of a teamGood communication skills both written and verbalCommitted to learning and self developmentTPBN1_UKTJ
